Gaza, Alray - “Israeli military prosecutor charged a Palestinian woman prisoner of leaking funds and mobile devices to Hamas-affiliated prisoners,” researcher in Solidarity Foundation for Human Rights Ahmed Betawi said.
Betawi noted in a statement that Alray received a copy of on Saturday that “the prosecutor also charged her of communicating with Hamas activists in and out of the Israeli jails,”
He said “the woman is engaged to sentenced-to-29-years prisoner Mohamed Fouad Wakid has been detained since ten years in Gilboa prison.”
The Israeli occupation forces have been detaining the Palestinian woman, 36, since May 27th, 2013. On the arrest day, the Israeli military broke into her home in the city of Tulkarem, and transferred her to Petah Tikva interrogation center, and then she was loaded to Hasharon prison where she has been until now.
The woman prisoner is due to sit trial before Salem military court on July 3rd, 2013 to look into her case and probably extend her detention period.
