Gaza, Alray - About 75% of Gaza commercial terminals have stopped working and there is a shortage of many basic needs as a result of the Israeli blockade on Gaza still in effect since 2007," Palestinian prime minister Ismail Haniyeh said.
"Israeli occupation violated the signed agreements such as the swap deal and agreements with the hunger strikers in Israeli prisons," He said, highlighting the suffering of the Jordanian prisoners, children detentions and abduction of Palestinian MPs and ministers.
Haniyeh reviewed several issues including detainees and torture practiced against the hunger strikers, especially prisoner Abdullah Barghouti, whose health is in a real danger.
Haniyeh also referred to fishermen suffering repreated Israeli navy attacks like firing on them and damaging their fishing equipments.
On Israeli measures in occupied Jeruslem, he indicated that "there is a great danger threatening the city and its holy Islamic and Christian sites as Israel is planning to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque."
He praised the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for its role in supporting prisoners and providing aid to Palestinians working in medical and agricultural sectors.
