Nablus, ALRAY – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday raided the village of Sebastia, northwest of the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, and caused damages to shops as they clashed with youth near the archeological area of the village.
Mohammad Azem, head of the municipality of Sebastia, said that IOF raided the town and intensively fired bullets, provoking clashes with local youth and causing damage to several shops as a result of gunfire.
He said the soldiers threatened the shop owners that they will close the shops completely in case clashes erupt again.
Sebastia is a target for daily raids by Israeli soldiers and settlers.
