West Bank, ALRAY - The house and the car of the deputy in the Legislative Council Azzam Salhab, were shot Sunday at dawn by unknown gunmen in the city of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
Local sources in Hebron reported that the fires caused damages to the house and the car without causing any injuries, pointing out that MP Salhab was in his house at the time of the shooting.
Islamic Movement of Hamas strongly condemned the shoot attack against Salhab properties and hold the Palestinian Authority and its security services the responsibility of this attack.
It explained in a statement "this crime came after Abu Mazen's decision to dissolve the Legislative Council, and the campaigns of incitement and abuse led by the PA and its security services against Hamas and its leadership and members of the Legislative Council."
It stressed in a statement that all acts of violence and intimidation against the deputies and leaders of the movement and its elements in the West Bank by several parties will not intimidate them and will not discourage them from continuing to exercise their national and responsible role towards the people and their just causes, and to respond to any plans against the Palestinians' rights and security .
