Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - IOF detained more than 500 Jerusalemites just in July month, most of them from Issaweya town, statistical report revealed Tuesday.
Director of Detainees club in occupied Jerusalem, Naser Qusa' said in a statement that IOF detained more than 500 Jerusalemites, children and minors are among them, following the recent incidents in Issaweya.
He explained that IOF detained Palestinians from different cities of occupied Jerusalem, but the largest number was in Issaweya town, where 300 Palestinians are detained.
He added that Israeli occupation authorities uses its power to over control the holy city. He stressed that the raising number of detainees is a clear evidence of Israel terrorist policy.
IOF waged arresting campaign in a daily basis, that targeted Jerusalemite youths in the neighborhoods of occupied Jerusalem.
