Occupied WB, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained on Wednesday at daybreak four Palestinian citizens during raids into multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Israeli sources claimed that the detainees are wanted by the Israeli intelligence on suspicion of being participated in acts of resistance against Israeli soldiers and settlers, adding that they were immediately transferred for interrogation.
In the same context, the IOF broke also at dawn of Wednesday into Bir al-Basha village, southwest of the city of Jenin, and raided the house of the ex-prisoner Uday Tayseer Gawadreh and ransacked it.
In addition, wide confrontations erupted, during the same time, when the IOF broke into district of Thinnabah in Talkarem and ransacked one of its houses.
Locals in the district reported that the confrontations were centered near the Mosque of Khalil Rahman in Thinnabah and involved heavy fire of sound bombs and tear gas canisters.
The locals indicated that the IOF raided the house of Palestinian Abu Haytham Al-Araj in Thinnabah, ransacked it, and destroyed its contents.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
