Gaza, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained during last October a total of 417 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank and the blockaded Gaza Strip. Among them were around 75 children and 16 women.
Different prisoners and human rights organizations indicated in a fact sheet issued on Sunday that the IOF detained 188 Palestinians from occupied Jerusalem, 30 from Ramallah and al-Bireh, 60 from Hebron, 22 from Jenin, 22 from Bethlehem, 22 from Nablus, 26 from Talkarem, 21 from Qalqilya, 5 from Tubas, 3 from Salfit, 9 from Jericho, and 9 from Gaza.
Until the end of October 2019, there was around 5000 Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails. This number included about 40 women, 200 children, and over 540 administrative detainees. In addition, there was 85 new administrative detention orders.
