Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces handed Saturday Sheikh Ikrima Sabri' the preacher of Al-Aqsa mosque an order of expel from Al-Aqsa mosque for four months, after raiding his house.
Eyewitness reported that Israeli occupation police raided the house of Sheikh Sabri before handing the order of expulsion. They added that the police handed him or order to appear before interrogation center on Sunday.
Last Sunday, Israeli occupation authorities have handed Sheikh Sabri an order of expulsion from Al-Aqsa mosque for seven days, but he refused the order and performed Friday prayer in Al-Aqsa mosque.
Its not the first time that Israeli occupation police expelled Sheikh Sabri from Al-Aqsa mosque.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli order to expel Sheikh Ikrima Sabri from Al-Aqsa Mosque, considering it the most recent example of the policy of oppression, injustice and intimidation practiced by Israel towards Palestine.
The spokesperson of Turkish foreign ministry Hamee Aqsawee said that this step is part of Israeli plans to change the legal status of Jerusalem, noting to the arrest of Palestinian Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Fadi Al-Hudmi, for three times by Israeli forces in 7 months.
He stressed that such fascist practices, which cannot be seen even in dictatorial regimes, clearly show the true face of the Israeli government.
