Ramallah, ALRAY - A new coronavirus case was confirmed in the occupied West Bank city of Qalqilya on Thursday, Palestinian Minister of Health, Dr. Mai al-Kaila, announced.
The minister added that the new coronavirus case brought the total number of the confirmed cases in the occupied Palestinian territories to 614.
She pointed out that it was reported in the town of Azzun Atma, southeast of the city of Qalqilya, for a Palestinian working in the pre-1948 occupied territories.
At least 483 coronavirus patients have made a full recovery, including 18 in the Gaza Strip, and five people have died of the virus so far.
There are about 5,759,027 confirmed cases worldwide and the death toll now tops 357,735 while over 2,446,121 people have recovered from the virus.
