Hebron, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished a Palestinian-owned tin house in Masafer Yatta located southern the occupied West Bank city of Hebron on Wednesday morning.
Coordinator of the National and Popular Committee in southern Hebron, Rateb Jabour, said that the IOF forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, demolished a house made of brick and tin.
Jabour added that the house was accommodating the family of Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Hamamra.
He pointed out that the IOF forces have boosted their procedures and settlement activities in Masafer Yatta, including demolitions of houses, and notifications of residents to stop building and leave their lands, in a bid to expand settlements in the area.
The area of Masafer Yatta has been subjected to a barbaric assault by the Israeli army and settlers for the purpose of expanding illegal settlement and expelling indigenous people out of their lands.
