Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - At least 38 Palestinians were injured by Israeli forces on Wednesday evening during confrontations that took place in the town of Abu Dis in occupied east Jerusalem.
Health officials reported that medical crews have provided first aid to nine people injured by rubber bullets, and eight who suffered from tear gas suffocation.
The officials added that the crews also provided medical assistance to four people with burns, as well as to three others who afflicted bruises.
They indicated that the Israeli forces deliberately fired tear gas canisters towards several Palestinian houses, which resulted in the injury of seven citizens from one family and two with burn wounds from another after their house was burnt from the canisters of tear gas.
The Israeli occupation forces and settlers routinely attack Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, demolish their homes, and vandalize their properties, so as to pressure them to leave their homes and lands, in contravention with international law.
