Occupied WB, ALRAY – Another 59 Palestinians were confirmed positive for the coronavirus pandemic in the occupied West Bank on Sunday, Palestinian Minister of Health, Dr. Mai al-Kaila, announced.

Of the latest statistics, the minister pointed out, 20 cases have emerged in Jerusalem, 34 in Hebron, and three in Bethlehem, adding that Nablus and Ramallah have also recorded one case for each.

She indicated that that these new cases brought the total number of the coronavirus infections in the occupied Palestinian territories to 2112.

At least 621 coronavirus patients, she continued, have made a full recovery, including 57 in the Gaza Strip, and seven people have died of the virus so far.

There are about 10,044,294 confirmed cases worldwide and the death toll now tops 501,473 while over 5,442,305 people have recovered from the virus.
