Occupied WB, ALRAY - One Palestinian died of coronavirus-related complications, and 97 others were confirmed diagnosed with the virus in the occupied Palestinian territories, Palestinian Minister of Health, Dr. Mai al-Kaila, announced on Monday.
The minister indicated that a woman, in her 40s, from Hebron, died of the coronavirus pandemic, raising the total number of deaths in the occupied Palestinian territories to eight.
Of the latest statistics, the minister pointed out, 52 cases have emerged in Hebron, 27 in Bethlehem, five in Nablus, six in Jerusalem, two in Ramallah and al-Bireh, adding that Talkarem, Qalqilya, Salfit, Jericho and Jenin have also recorded one case for each.
She added that the new coronavirus cases brought the total number of the virus infections in the occupied Palestinian territories to 2345.
There are about 10,210,839 confirmed cases worldwide and the death toll now tops 504,588 while over 5,530,753 people have recovered from the virus.
