West Bank, ALRAY - Palestinian Health Ministry based in Ramallah announced on Saturday a new 237 covid-19 cases in West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, raising the total number to 561 during the last 24 hours, it also announced on Sunday the death of two cases in Hebron.
The ministry explained that 173 cases were recorded in Hebron, 33 in occupied Jerusalem, 28 in Bethlehem, two in Nablus, and one case in Ramallah.
It explained that the total number of cases reached 4250, 3597 active cases, and 19 dead.
The minister of Health Mai Kilah announced on Sunday the death of two citizens, one of them seventy, and the second of forty in the Hebron Governorate south of the West Bank, after they were infected with the Corona virus.
The minister explained that the dead were suffering from chronic diseases, noting that the death toll from the virus in Palestine had risen to 19.
The spokesperson of Palestinian Ministry of Health, Kamal Al-Shakhra, announced last night that a new death from the Corona virus had been recorded in Nablus.
Earlier, Health Minister Mai kilah said, "The epidemiological situation of Corona in the city of Hebron has gone out of control, because it is spread in more than one circle of contacts."
She explained that there are 50 cases among medical staff, to which the infection was transmitted while treating the infected.
