Ramallah, ALRAY – Two Palestinian citizens who are residents of Hebron’s town of Bani Na'im died from complications related to the coronavirus pandemic, Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Monday night.
The ministry indicated that the new reported deaths raised the number of deaths from the coronavirus pandemic in the occupied Palestinian territories to 43.
It added that over 400 people have been confirmed positive for the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of those diagnosed with it in the occupied Palestinian territories to over 7,300.
Of the latest figures, the ministry pointed out, about 16 coronavirus cases are described to be in serious condition; some of them are connected to ventilators.
At least 1116 coronavirus patients, the ministry added, have showed full recovery, including 63 in the Gaza Strip.
There are about 13,188,331 confirmed cases worldwide and the death toll now tops 575,559 while over 7,637,446 people have recovered from the virus.
