Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday bulldozed Palestinian lands so as to make room for illegal settlements south of the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
Local sources reported that the IOF forces, accompanied by military bulldozers, broke into Yasuf town, southwest of Nablus, and bulldozed the Palestinian lands adjacent to the Zatara military checkpoint.
The sources indicated that the bulldozed lands belong to a Palestinian farmer named Ibrahim al-Yasin.
In the same context, the IOF forces notified a number of Palestinian citizens, from the Jenin’s town of Ya’bad, of demolishing their business premises and not reconstructing them again.
Locals said that the IOF forces issued a notification of demolishing a slaughterhouse owning to citizen Omar al-Kilani, a supermarket and slaughterhouse owning to citizen Zaid Herzallah and another slaughterhouse owning to Khaled Abu Saada.
The locals added that the IOF forces ordered the citizens not to reconstruct their premises again.
They pointed out that these notifications aim at maintaining the illegal settlement schemes on Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank in preparation for carrying them out in the foreseeable future.
The Israeli occupation authorities keep demolishing Palestinian homes and facilities in the occupied Palestinian territories on the pretext of being built without license, which Israel itself puts obstacles against it.
