Ramallah, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn of Tuesday broke into the house of the Hamas leading member sheikh Hasan Youssef and handed him a summon to appear before its intelligence.
Local sources reported that a large force of the IOF stormed the house of Hamas official Youssef after intensively spreading in its surroundings and handed him a summon to appear before the intelligence forces in the Ofer detention center on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, confrontations erupted between a group of Palestinian youths and the IOF forces, during which the forces ascended the rooftops of houses in the area.
Sheikh Youssef, a resident of the Beitunia town to the west of the city of Ramallah, was released from the Israeli occupation jails two weeks ago, after 15 months of administrative imprisonment.
According to Palestinian figures, about 4,600 Palestinians, including 39 women and 170 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
At least 700 of the detainees suffer from chronic illnesses and require regular medical care, 10 of them are suffering from different types of cancer.
