Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) waged a wide scale-campaign of raids and detentions overnight Wednesday across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.

Local sources reported that at least nine Palestinian people were detained by the IOF forces during the campaign.

The sources pointed out that the IOF forces broke into the city of Ramallah and detained six people after raiding and ransacking the houses of their families.

They identified the detained as Azmi Shreiteh, Musa Lidadwa, Muhammad and his brother Saif Lidadwa, Abdul Aziz Sobh, and Jalal Abdel Moez.

In Talkarem, the sources said, the IOF forces detained two people from the town of Qaffin, named as Mustafa Toma, 40, and ex-prisoner Imad Toma, 48, after raiding their houses.

As of Bethlehem, the IOF forces detained 22-year-old youth Ahmed Shamrock, after raiding on the house of his father in the city’s district of Al-Dawha.

Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
