Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn of Thursday detained at least 14 Palestinian people during raids across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities.
Local sources reported that the IOF forces detained two people named Raed Nassar and Naim Nassar from the northern Ramallah town of Kafr Ni'ma.
The sources added that the IOF forces broke into the house of the ex-prisoner Rami Barghouti and detained his nephews Nasser Abdul Latif Barghouti and Salah Bassam Barghouti.
In addition, the IOF forces detained youth Murad Qendah and the ex-prisoner Ahmad Abdul Hafez from the Abu Shukheidim village.
As of Nablus, the IOF forces detained Abu Imad Dahbur and his son Obada from the city’s southeastern town of Rujeib.
In Salfit, the IOF forces detained youth Husam Abu al-Wafa from the city’s western town of Kafr ad-Dik, while detained youths Bara Houshia, Salah Istiti, and Raed Hanthawi as they were passing on a military checkpoint.
Regarding occupied Jerusalem, the IOF forces detained teen Mahmoud Obaid and youth Iyas Obiad from the city’s town of al-Issawiya.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
