Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday at dawn conducted a wide-scale campaign of raids and detentions across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank towns and cities and Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the IOF forces broke into the city of Bethlehem and detained four citizens after raiding and ransacking their houses.
The sources identified the detainees as Wisam Badawneh, Mustafa Qunais, Muhammad Abayat, and Anas Adnan.
As to the city of Nablus, the sources said that the IOF forces detained an ex-prisoner named Thaer Amer from the city’s village of Kafr Qallil, after raiding on and ransacking his house.
In the same context, the IOF forces broke into several districts in occupied Jerusalem and detained a number of youths.
locals reported that the IOF forces broke into several houses in the town of al-Issawiya and detained Nasrallah Mahmoud and Taj Muheisen.
They added that the forces also broke into the Qalandia refugee camp and detained Mustafa Mutair and Osama Hamad.
In addition, the IOF forces detained youths Mahmoud Odeh and Sultan Sarhan from the city’s town of Silwan.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
