Occupied WB, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday detained five Palestinian people during raids targeted multiple areas in the occupied cities of Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the IOF forces detained three people from the city of Bethlehem, after raiding and ransacking their houses.
The sources identified the three detainees as Uday Abu Nassar, 22, Laith al-Atrash, 18, and Muhammad Abu Sheikha.
In addition, the IOF forces detained brothers Samer and Ibrahim al-Kalouni, after they had stormed into and ransacked their houses based in the town of al-Eizariya, southeast of the occupied city of Jerusalem.
In the same context, several youths have been wounded by rubber-coated steel bullets and others suffered from tear gas suffocation during confrontations with numerous Israeli soldiers covering the storming of settlers into Joseph’s tomb, east of the city of Nablus.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
