Occupied WB, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday detained three Palestinians, including two lawyers, during a raid in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation soldiers detained Palestinian lawyers Suhail al-Hosseini and his son Fahed after storming into their houses in Jabal Johar area in Hebron.
Israeli occupation troops, in addition, broke into Yatta town in southern Hebron and detained Hussein al-Harini after storming and ransacking his home.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces set up military checkpoints at the entrances to the towns of Beit Einun, Bani Na'im, and Wadi al-Saman and closed the metal gate installed at the entrance to Beit Awwa town west of Hebron.
Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.
According to Palestinian figures, over 4,500 Palestinians, including 40 women and 170 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
At least 700 of the prisoners suffer from chronic illnesses and require regular medical care, 10 of them are suffering from different types of cancer.
