West Bank, ALRAY - Israeli occupation authorities released on Monday the Palestinian detainee Raed Hantsh, a 44-year-old from the occupied West Bank city of Qalqilya, after imprisoning him for 19 years.

The Asra Media Office pointed out that Israeli occupation forces detained Hantsh on 31 August 2002 and interrogated him in harsh conditions for 55 days at "Petah Tikva" detention center.

Hantsh completed his studies inside prison and obtained a BA in history from Al-Aqsa University.
