Ramallah, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) confiscated on Tuesday evening two Palestinian excavators in the occupied West Bank cities of Hebron and Salfit.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation army appropriated an excavator in Umm Lasfa village in Masafer Yatta south of Hebron.
Violations by the Israeli occupation authorities and settlers are aimed at forcing the indigenous Palestinian population of Masafer Yatta out of their homes and lands to make way for illegal settlement construction.
Around 30,000 Israeli settlers, living in more than 50 illegal settlement outposts across Hebron, are working on tightening the Israeli occupation's grip on the occupied West Bank city.
The Israeli occupation government and Israeli settler groups are racing against time to grab as much Palestinian land as possible and build further settlements and roads for Israeli settlers only in violation of international law.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation troops confiscated another excavator in Farkha village west of Salfit and moved it to a nearby Israeli occupation military camp.
