Nablus, ALRAY - Israeli occupied settlers stole Tuesday olives from Palestinian groves and chopped down hundreds of saplings in the occupied West Bank town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus.

Sebastia mayor Mohammed Azem said that the settlers stole the olive crops of an 18-dunam plot of land, owned by a local resident called Majdi Shehada, and destroyed some trees.

The settlers, in addition, cut down 700 apricot saplings and 200 olive saplings in a nearby Palestinian agricultural area.

The settlers also set up barbed wire fences around the Palestinian agricultural area to expand the illegal settlement of "Shavei Shomron".
