Gaza, ALRAY - The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has recorded at least 69 new Covid-19 cases after conducting 430 coronavirus tests over the past 24 hours.

In a report published on Sunday, the Ministry added that about 20 cases have recovered from the virus.

The total number of coronavirus cases that have been reported in the blockaded Gaza Strip since the spread of the virus has jumped to 191,634, including 1,275 confirmed cases, the Ministry pointed out.

About 188,628 Covid-19 patients have recovered, the Ministry continued, adding that the death toll has risen to 1,731.

The number of cases hospitalized due to the virus-related complications has reached 54, 39 of whom are in critical condition, according to the Ministry.

The Ministry indicated that around 1,957,960 coronavirus vaccine doses have arrived in the besieged Gaza Strip, adding that 554,655 people have received the vaccine.
