Gaza, ALRAY - A group of people in solidarity with Palestine as well as the Palestinian Democratic Assembly in the Netherlands have organized on Sunday a sit-in in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Dutch city of Groningen.
According to the Assembly, the sit-in comes in rejection of Israeli practices of demolishing Palestinian homes and the ethnic cleansing practiced by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, which have affected hundreds of Palestinian families in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
The participants waved Palestinian flags and banners calling for an end to the Israeli occupation and its criminal practices against the Palestinian people.
"The attacks of the Israeli occupation violate the international law and human rights," they stated, calling on the international community to take action to stop this criminal policy and to fully support the Palestinian people.
