Gaza, ALRAY - Pro-Palestinian demonstrators rallied on Sunday across the United States condemning Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, most recently in occupied Jerusalem and Anaqab “Negev”.
The demonstrations, organized by pro-Palestine supporters, called on the US administration to pressure the Israeli occupation government to stop ethnic cleansing against Palestinians in Anaqab, Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and Hebron.
Dozens of Palestinian community members, as well as Americans in Los Angeles, New York, Houston and Dallas, took part in demonstrations in front of US federal government headquarters.
In Chicago, the demonstrations organized by the Coalition for Justice in Palestine were postponed due to weather conditions and continued snowfall.
Representatives of U.S. ethnic minorities, left-wing parties and dozens of Palestinian institutions participated in the organized demonstrations calling for holding the Israel occupation accountable for crimes of ethnic cleansing and apartheid.
The demonstrations coincided with a social media campaign (Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp), through which posts and live streaming condemning Israel's ethnic cleansing policies in Palestine were published.
