Lod, ALRAY - Israeli bulldozers on Sunday demolished a Palestinian house in the occupied Palestinian city of Lod, displacing 11 Palestinian citizens.

A large number of Israeli occupation forces, escorted by bulldozers, broke into the Shaneer neighbourhood, cordoned off the area, and embarked on knocking down the house.

A few weeks ago, Tariq Muhareb, the homeowner, had received a demolition order against his house on the pretext of "unlicensed construction."

Muhareb filed an appeal to reverse the demolition order against his home but to no avail.

Built in 2013, the home had burned down, forcing its owner to rebuild it, so the Israeli occupation authorities delivered him a demolition order.
