One death, 43 new Covid-19 cases in Gaza in 24 hrs

Gaza, ALRAY - The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Sunday one death and 43 new Covid-19 cases after conducting 387 tests over the past 24 hours.

In its daily report, the Ministry stated that 290 cases have recovered in the past 24 hours, adding that the total number of Covid-19 cases has reached 248,857, including 1,561 active and 245,324 recovered cases, with a death toll of 1,972 cases.

The Ministry also reported that the number of cases in need of hospitalization has amounted to 25, with 17 cases in critical conditions.

Gaza has received around 1,957,960 Covid-19 vaccine doses. So far, 674,255 Gazans have received the vaccine, according to the Ministry’s report.
