Gaza, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained early Thursday a Gazan merchant as he was passing through the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing in the northern besieged Gaza Strip.
A Palestinian source said that the Israeli occupation authorities informed the Palestinian Liaison Department of the detention of Ibrahim Fathi Abed Abu Hasira, 36, a resident of Gaza City, as he was passing through the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing last Sunday.
The same source added that the detained Palestinian holds a merchant's permit.
The Israeli occupation authorities use the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing as a trap for Palestinians, especially merchants and patients, noting that the IOF detained 6 Gazans in 2021.
