Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - The United Kingdom has called on the Israeli occupation authorities to hold a "swift, transparent, and independent" investigation into the execution of 15-year-old Zayed Ghneim by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.
"Following the death of a 15-year-old Palestinian during an incursion by Israeli Forces into Al Khader village close to Bethlehem, the UK calls on the Israeli authorities to conduct a swift, transparent and independent investigation and urge restraint in the use of live fire," the British Consulate in Jerusalem said in a tweet on Saturday.
On Friday evening, Ghneim succumbed to wounds that he sustained after Israeli occupation soldiers shot him in the neck and back as he was heading to visit his grandfather in the south of Al-Khader.
