West Bank, ALRAY - The detainee Raed Rayan,27, from Biet Daqo to the north west of Jerusalem continued his open hunger strike for the 81- consecutive day in protest against his administrative detention.

Commission of Detainees and ex-detainees reported previously that Rayan arrested at Ramla prison clinic suffers of acute weight loss, lack of fluids, vitamins and proteins, cases of dizziness, vomiting, aches all over his body, and his health condition is getting more and more serious.

It noted that Rayan has been arrested in solitary confinement at Ofra prison for nearly two months that affected his health condition.  

 

Israeli occupation forces arrested about 982 Palestinians out of 4600 Palestinian detainees under administrative detention orders; the number of administrative detention orders are estimated to be 54.000 since 1967.
