West Bank, ALRAY - Asra media office reported on Sunday evening that Israeli Ofra prison witnessed tensions after IPS forces assaulted a number of Palestinian prisoners.
It noted that a number of Palestinian detainees in Ofra were beaten, one of them is injured.
The occupation forces assault Palestinian prisoners in their prisons, by suppressing them, searching their possessions, tampering with their private property, and trying to humiliate them.
By May 2022, the number of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons reached about 4.600 four prisoners, including 31 women, 172 children, and 682 administrative detainees, according to human rights organizations concerned with prisoners' affairs.
