Jerusalem, ALRAY - Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured on Tuesday as Israeli occupation forces suppressed a march against the establishment of Israeli settlements in the town of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

Local sources said that Israeli forces suppressed the Palestinian marchers and fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at them, wounding 22 participants who were hit by metal bullets in addition to 75 others who suffered suffocation on tear gas.

For nearly two years, residents of Beit Dajan have been organizing weekly marches to protest the establishment of a settlement outpost in the town's eastern region.
