West Bank, ALRAY - Supreme National Emergency Committee of the National Captive Movement reported on Sunday that it is scheduled to start thousands of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation’s prisons their first protest steps against the violations that IPS committed against them.

The committee explained that the protesting steps are continued starting by dissolving the organizations, up to the open hunger strike, until the prisoners’ demands are met.

It added that on Monday all the detainees will wear the IPS uniform all the day in the yards.

“On Thursday about one thousand detainees will start an open hunger strike,” the committee stated.

The committee called the Palestinian people to stand by the detainees in their struggle, stressing the importance of their role.

About 4,550 Palestinians are detained in Israeli prisons, including 31 women, 175 children, about 700 administrative detainees, and 500 patients.

Captive movement announced last week that it will start protesting steps against IPS retracted March understandings.
