Hebron, ALRAY - At least three Palestinian journalists on Saturday suffered from various injuries after being attacked by Israeli occupation forces during a protest supporting the people of Masafer Yatta in Hebron.

Local sources pointed out that the Israeli forces attacked the photojournalists Mashhour Wehwah and Wisam Hashlamon as well as the journalist Fadi Khalaf, indicating that they received treatment on the scene.

The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday morning prevented Palestinian and foreign solidarity activists from approaching the village of al-Tuwana in Masafer Yatta area, south of the city of Hebron.

The protest was due to support the residents of the village in resisting Israeli settlements which aim at expelling them from their lands and homes.

Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank suffer from almost daily attacks by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers, resulting in many injuries and sometimes martyrs among them.
