Hebron, ALRAY – Around 12 Palestinian citizens were wounded overnight and early Thursday during clashes as Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed several areas in Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that three Palestinians were wounded by live ammunition during the Israeli raid on the town of Doura, south of Hebron and that their injuries were mostly in the lower limbs.

According to local sources, the IOF raided several villages and towns, including the village of Beit Awwa, Kharsa and Tabqa, declared them closed military zones and stormed several shops in search of surveillance camera recordings.

Moreover, eight Palestinians were shot and dozens suffered suffocation on tear gas overnight during clashes with the IOF in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

Clashes also broke out with the IOF at the entrance to al-Arroub camp, south of Hebron, while the southern entrance to Hebron witnessed other confrontations.

Occupied West Bank cities, including occupied Jerusalem, have been witnessing daily incursions by the IOF and Israeli settlers, with continuous provocations and attacks against the Palestinians.
