Bethlehem, ALRAY - A Palestinian child was wounded on Monday by rubber-coated bullets fired by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during clashes at the entrance to the town of Taqou' in Bethlehem in the occupied Western Bank.

Local sources said that clashes broke out with the IOF after attacking a student march condemning the killing of Palestinian child Rayan Suleiman near the main entrance to the town.

The sources added that IOF members fired rubber-coated bullets, tear gas canisters and stun grenades towards the Palestinian students, which resulted in the injury of a child with a rubber-coated bullet in his leg, after which he was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Moreover, the IOF also closed the main entrance to the town of Taqou' and prevented Palestinian citizens from entering and exiting the town.
