Jerusalem, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation authorities released on Tuesday Palestinian detainee Muhannad Khaled Kamil, 42, from the town of Qabatiya in southern Jenin, after spending 19 years in Israeli occupation prisons.
Muntasir Sammour, Head of al-Asir Society in Jenin, said that Kamil was released in Hebron after his release from the Negev prison, knowing that he was first detained in 2003 and lost his father while in detention; however, the Israeli occupation authorities deprived him of saying goodbye to his father or attending his funeral.
While he was detained in Israeli prisons, Kamil succeeded in attaining a high school diploma and a bachelor's degree in sociology.
