Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - People of Shu’fat camp in occupied Jerusalem announced on Tuesday evening civil disobedience until the end of the siege imposed on them days ago.
According to a statement by the camp committees, it decided to close schools, calling for city schools to go on strike and shut down.
The statement called on the students’ families to gathered in a sit-in before Shu’fat camp at 10 O’clock.
The committees banned using cars after 10 o’clock, except for emergency.
It also decided to close the markets on Wednesday, and called media to cover the sit-in about what is happening to the people of the camp, at ten in the morning.
the statement also called the workers not to go to works as an address of dignity.
The statement concluded by calling the people of the Anata region to join the civil disobedience.
Clashes renewed between the youths and the occupation forces, which fired tear gas and sound bombs extensively towards the citizens.
Until this evening, the occupation failed to reach the perpetrator of the attack last Saturday at the Shu’fat checkpoint, which led to the death of a female soldier.
