Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday at dawn imposed a siege on the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, closing the entrances leading to it.

Local sources reported that the IOF forces blocked the entrances into the towns of Deir Sharaf, west of the city, and Huwara and Aawrta, south of the city.

The sources added that the IOF forces also blocked Tal and Asira ash-Shamaliya roads and erected flying military checkpoints at the entrances into Sebestia, northwest of the city, and Beit Furik, to the east.

In the same context, a general strike was announced in the city of Nablus, as well as in other cities of the occupied West Bank, in solidarity with the residents of the Shufat refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem, who are facing tight Israeli siege as well.
