Gaza, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired early Monday tear gas canisters towards Palestinian farmers east of Gaza City.

Eyewitnesses said that the IOF, deployed in the watchtowers behind the border fence east of Gaza City, fired several tear gas canisters towards Palestinian farmers while they were working in their lands in eastern Gaza, forcing them to leave the area.

The IOF frequently targets Palestinian farmers and their agricultural lands near the border fence, forcing the farmers out of their lands and damaging their crops.
