Jerusalem, ALRAY - The Israeli occupation authorities released on Tuesday Palestinian detainee Suhaib Yousef al-Sa’di, 29, from Jenin camp after spending 18 months in administrative detention in Israeli prisons.

Al-Asra Media Office explained that Israeli occupation forces detained al-Sa’di on the 8th of May 2021 after storming his home and damaging its contents, just a year and a half after his previous release from his prior detention.

Following his detention, al-Sa’di was transferred to the Jalameh investigation center. Two weeks after that, the Israeli occupation court issued an administrative detention decision against him for six months, without charge.

Al-Asra Office added that the Israeli occupation court renewed al-Sa’di’s administrative detention four times in a row and spent 18 months before releasing him from the Negev desert prison.

It is worth mentioning that ex-detainee al-Sa’di is married and has a daughter. He has been detained several times and spent several years in Israeli prisons on charges of allegedly belonging to a Palestinian resistance faction.
