Occupied WB, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday detained at least three Palestinian citizens from different areas in the occupied West Bank cities of Ramallah and Bethlehem.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces detained Ali Abdul Asalam and Ahmad Abu Naeem after raiding and ransacking the homes in the town of al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah.

The sources added that the IOF forces detained youth Mujahid Abu Sarhan from the town of al-Ubeidiya, east of Bethlehem, after raiding and ransacking his family home.

In addition, the IOF forces detained youth Anas Ghazal from southern Hebron, while detained youth Ahmad Shiha from occupied Jerusalem.

Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out arrest raids in the West Bank. Around 40 percent of Palestinian men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.

According to Palestinian figures, about 4,500 Palestinians, including 32 women and 160 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
