Jenin, ALRAY - A number of Palestinians suffocated on Saturday evening during clashes with Israeli soldiers in the villages of “Rummaneh” and “Jabaa” in Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers fired tear gas towards Palestinians and their houses in Rummaneh village, causing a number of suffocation cases.
A number of Palestinians also suffocated during clashes with Israeli soldiers who erected a military checkpoint at the cross roads of Jabaa village southern Jenin.
Meanwhile, IOF arrested a Palestinian youth at a military checkpoint near Arraba town.
The cities of the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, witness almost daily incursions by the occupation forces and settlers, interspersed with provocations and attacks against the Palestinians.
These incursions lead to the outbreak of confrontations between the occupation soldiers and settlers and the Palestinian youths, which usually end with the arrest and injury of a number of them, and the martyrdom of others in some cases.
