Jerusalem, ALRAY - An Israeli military court has handed down jail terms to four Palestinians from occupied Jerusalem.
Mohammed Mahmoud, a lawyer with the Wadi Hilweh Information Centre, said that the Israeli military court sentenced Khalid Baraghiti to 11 months in jail, Latif al-Ladawiyyah to 9 months in jail, Mohammed Okka to 9 months in jail, and the boy Yazan al-Afghani to 6 months in jail.
The Israeli occupation supreme court turned down an appeal filed against the extension of prison terms for the two Palestinian detainees Nawaf Abu al-Hawa and Rami Salah.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation released Jihad Uweida, chairman of the Palestinian Judo Federation after detaining him during a raid on his home in Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem.
