West Bank, ALRAY -The Israeli occupation military court in Salem camp issued on Wednesday a prison sentence and imposed a fine against a Palestinian detainee from the village of Bir al-Basha, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said that the Israeli military court in Salem sentenced Palestinian detainee Qadri Ghawadreh to 26 months in prison, in addition to a fine of 10,000 shekels, knowing that he has been detained since the 30th of March 2022.

It is worth mentioning that the number of Palestinian detainees in the Israeli occupation prisons until the end of last October amounted to about 4,760 detainees, including 33 women detainees, about 160 minors and 820 administrative detainees, including three women and four children, according to institutions concerned with Palestinian detainees’ affairs.
