West Bank, ALRAY - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained early Wednesday 13 Palestinian citizens from different areas across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

The Israeli detentions were concentrated in the cities of Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem and occupied Jerusalem, and it included a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Bassem al-Za’areer, from the town of al-Samu', west of Hebron.

The IOF usually conducts night raids and detention campaigns against the Palestinians before transferring them to detention centers or prisons in the occupied territories.

It is worth noting that the number of Palestinian detainees inside the Israeli occupation prisons until the end of last October 2022 amounted to about 4,760 detainees, including 33 women detainees, about 160 minors and 820 administrative detainees, including three women and four children, according to institutions concerned with Palestinian detainees’ affairs.
