Jerusalem, ALRAY - Al-Asir Society reported on Sunday that the Israeli occupation prisons administration urgently transferred Palestinian detainee Nasser Abu Humeid, who has been suffering from cancer, from Ramleh prison to the hospital following a deterioration in his health condition.

 

Al-Asir Society explained in a statement that Abu Humeid was transferred due to a high temperature and heartbeat drop.

 

Detainee Abu Humeid has been subjected to the crime of medical negligence for years in the Israeli occupation prisons, and his health condition began to deteriorate dangerously in August of last year after the late discovery of his lung cancer, and nowadays he is in critical health condition.

 

Abu Humeid, 49, from al-Am’ari refugee camp in Ramallah, has been detained since 2002 and sentenced to life in prison, in addition to 50 other years by the Israeli occupation authorities.

 

It should be known that there are about 600 ill Palestinian detainees inside Israeli prisons, including 23 detainees suffering from cancer and tumors of various degrees.
